The multitalented and super hot looking international model that we just gave you a glimpse of is only one of its kinds, and she is Miss. Gulshan Sharma. A 25 years extremely talented model who has achieved all these and more in a very short span of 6 years. We got into a candid chat with her and this ever smiling beautiful model let her hair down; sipped her coffee and responded…

Q. Where are you originally from?
I am from Rajasthan.

Q. We saw the number of awards and crowns in your kitty. Did you actually get to struggle in Mumbai?
To tell you the fact I luckily did not have to struggle too much. You can say that I did struggle for sometime. Luckily I did not have to slog too much here like others do.

Q. Would you like to mention more of your achievements, if we did forgot any?
(Smiles), sure why not. These awards mean life to me. I have put in a lot of hard work and dedication to achieve and here I am, standing in front of you proud to say that I have achieved all these and eagerly waiting for some more to come. To name a few are Princess of Winter(2006), Best Achievement(2006), Miss Rajasthan(2006), Miss. Voice of Rajasthan(2006), selected for Gladrags mega model(2007), Kohinoor-A-Taj(2005), Taj and banner beauty(2005), selected for Princess of Canada(2009), the show scheduled to be held in Toronto this year, selected for Victoria Secret(U.K) on a one year contract basis.

Q. Seems like your professional life is having a rock-n-roll time. Let us jump to your personal life and see what we can find here?
I am a ‘simple living high thinking girl’. I am very down to earth. I am not fussy about things. I don’t mind traveling in an airplane as well as in an auto rickshaw. I love to eat ghar ka khana and like to work with a tension free mind. I get up at 3 every morning and do yoga and free exercise for 2-3 hours. Even after being a model I do not hit the gym, instead I prefer doing yoga. I think that keeps the mind and soul both happy.

Q. Bollywood has always got to do something with Fashion. What is your take on that?
I truly agree with you. A lot from the Fashion Industry have settled in to Bollywood. Talking about my experience in Bollywood, I performed a character in Golmaal Returns, I did a Punjabi album directed by Daljeet Singh Dilbar called ‘Josh Jawani Da’ in which I was the lead. I did a lead role in Remo D’souza’ hinglish film called ‘The Trip’ and Ken Ghosh’s ‘Happy Life’ with Shahid Kapoor which is yet to be released. In all these I had a specific character but I am looking out for a lead role in a movie.

Q. So who is your favorite actor/actress in that context?
They are Akshay Kumar and Sushmita Sen. I love them a lot and would love to do a film with them. They are certainly one of a kind.

Q. You have off recently been on the cover page of Debonair Magazine too. What is your take on exposing and would you do it if offered in a film?
Debonair was certainly a grand affair. I received a lot of compliments for that. Talking about exposing and stuffs so let me make it very clear that I don’t mind doing it until and unless it is required in the script. Exposing to some extent will be fine but too much of it will be simply no.

Q. You have done a lot of print ads and magazines, hoardings and more. Can you update with that?
I did Fantasy Hoarding which is in the Lokhandwala market, I did print ads for Captan dress, hoardings and catalog shoot for Heena sarees, magazines and print shoot for Enigma brand, print shoot for Lovelady, look good, loop love, print shoot for Dhruv creations, hoarding, catalog and print for Farico sarees for national and international basis,hoarding ,catalog,print shoot for Desire sarees, magazine,print,hoarding shoot for make-up studio, print shoot and magazine for Occasions, magazine for Zoom Delhi, magazine shoot for LNL(national and international), magazine shoot for Debonair(2009).

Q. We heard you have done a mobile video and websites?
(laughs) Yes, I guess you have done a lot of research on me. Well, I did do a telecom media video for Vodafone, airtel, reliance, screen saver, wallpapers and video shoot. It should be on air by first week of March, 2009. Coming to websites I have done for websites for www.desimad.com for video jokes and photo shoot, www.spicystarsmumbai.com and www.probollywoodnews.com.

Q. So many titles and crowns in your kitty. Did you do any modeling course or something?
Yes, I have done my course from Elite College, Delhi. I specialized in fashion, make-up, hair, fashion wardrobe (Indian/western/international), fitness, dance, acting, theatre, social savvy, grooming and personality. On the final day, I got the best actress award and best theatre award and photogenic face(2007).

Q. What are your likes and dislikes?
Talking about food I love gajar ka halwa, gulabjamun, chilly paneer, and fried mushroom and I like to eat beverages like pizza and burger. But mostly I prefer eating ghar ka khana. I feel one should try these things once in a while. I like wearing Christian Dior, Dior Addict, Essenza Di Wills and Hugo Boss when it comes to perfume. I hate people who lie and try to flirt around. I love dogs. I have two of them in my hometown. I just cannot live without them. I love to wear only designer clothes and shoes. For my daily wear I usually wear jeans and top. I love to Indian clothes as well, according to the occasion. In parties I like flaunting gowns or something sexy and attractive. I also love wearing diamond jewelleries.

Q. What do you aspire to become and describe yourself in 1 word?
I aspire to become a superstar. Describing myself in one word will be – “Cute and Nice”

कहानी- पटियाला हाउस एक ऐसे परिवार की कहानी है जो चार पी‍ढ़ियों से लंदन में रह रहा है। परिवार के मुखिया हैं गुरतेज सिंह (ऋषि कपूर) जिनके बनाए गए कायदे-कानून के मुताबिक ही परिवार के हर सदस्य को रहना पड़ता है। फिर चाहे उसकी मर्जी हो या न हो। 20 साल पहले की एक घटना के वजह से गुरतेज को अंग्रेजों से नफरत है।

वहीं गुरतेज सिंह के परिवार की नई पीढ़ी अपने सपनों को पूरा करना चाहती हैं, लेकिन बाबूजी के प्रति प्यार और सम्मान की खातिर उन्हें सपनों को एक तरफ रखना पड़ता है। परघट सिंह उर्फ गट्टू (अक्षय कुमार) प्रतिभाशाली तेज गेंदबाज था, जो इंग्लैंड की तरफ से क्रिकेट खेलना चाहता था, लेकिन बाबूजी की जिद के चलते वो ऐसा नही कर सकता।

मन मारकर गट्टू एक स्टोर पर काम करता है मगर इसी बीच उसे अपना सपना पूरा करने का एक और मौका मिलता है, जिसे वह किसी भी कीमत पर खोना नहीं चाहता। यहां गट्टू एक अजीब उलझन में फंस जाता है। वह परिवार चुने या अपना सपना। फिल्म परिवार के रिश्तों की इसी कशमकश पर आधारित है।

स्टोरी ट्रीटमेंट- पारिवारिक ड्रामा होने के नाते फिल्म में काफी इमोशंस हैं, जिसमें क्रिकेट को कहानी से जोड़कर उसे और दिलचस्प बनाने की कोशिश की गई है। निखिल अडवाणी ने सभी कलाकारों से सधा हुआ अभिनय करवाया है। विशेष रूप से ऋषि कपूर ने बहुत ही दमदार अभिनय किया है।

स्टार कास्ट- अपनी कॉमेडी वाली छवि से इतर अक्षय ने इस फिल्म में गंभीर भूमिका निभाई है। अपने सपने को पूरा करने की जद्दोजहद में लगे एक युवक की कशमकश को दर्शाने की अक्षय ने पूरी कोशिश की है। वह कुछ हद तक इसमें कामयाब भी हुए हैं, मगर कई जगह गट्टू के इमोशंस उभारने में चूक गए हैं। सिमरन के किरदार में अनुष्का शर्मा ने ठीकठाक काम किया है। हालांकि फिल्म में उनके करने लायक कुछ खास नहीं था।

म्यूजिक/सिनेमाटोग्राफी/डायलॉग्स- पंजाबी परिवार की कहानी होने के नाते फिल्म का संगीत भी पंजाबी तड़के के साथ परोसा गया है। शंकर-एहसान-लॉय ने फिल्म की थीम के अनुसार अच्छा संगीत रचा है। लेकिन फिल्म में अक्षय कुमार व अनुष्का शर्मा की लव स्टोरी होने के बावजूद एक भी रोमांटिक गाना नहीं है।सिनेमाटोग्राफी और एडिटिंग भी सधी हुई है। खासकर मैच के दृश्यों में काफी तेजी और कसावट है।

क्यों देखें- अगर आप वीकएंड पर मनोरंजक पारिवारिक फिल्म देखने की इच्छा रखते हैं। अक्षय कुमार को कॉमेडी से हटकर कुछ नया करते देखना चाहते हैं। ऋषि कपूर-डिम्पल कपाड़िया के फैन रहे हैं, तो फिर यह फिल्म इस सप्ताह के लिए अच्छी सौगात हो सकती है।

क्यों न देखें- फिल्म की स्टोरी के बारे में लोगों का अनुमान लगाना और वह हूबहू उसी तरह होते जाना।

MUSIC REVIEW OF LOVE AAJ KAL

Recently, Eros Music released the music of film “Love Aaj Kal” produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan starring Saif Ali Khan himself and Deepika Padukone in main lead. The film is directed by “Jab We Met” fame Imtiaz Ali and music is composed by every director’s favorite, hit-factory Pritam. The lyrics is written by Irshad Kamil and they are voiced by Neeraj Shridar, Master Salim, Mohit Chauhan,Raahat Fateh Sli Khan, K.K, Sundhi Chauhan and Suzie.
The first song of the album is ‘Twist’ song marvelously sung well by Neeraj Shridar. Certainly, this number is going to be preferred track in every party. It has famous nagin beats. In initial days people use to rock the floor on nagin beats, Now Pritam has modified it and people are loving it. It even has a re-mix version. Followed by the song ‘Chor Bazaari’ sung by Neeraj Sridhar and Sunidhi Chauhan. The next song is ‘Aahun Aahun’ sung amazingly by Master Salim and Neeraj Sridhar, it also has a remix version. It depicts real Punjabi tradition. ‘Dooriyan’ a slow number song by Mohit Chauhan. The next song is “Ajj Din Chadheya” is by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and it is ensured that this song will also turn as popular like his previous ones. ‘Thoda Thoda Pyar’ sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and ‘Main Kya Hoon’ by K.K are ordinary though adds flavor to the album in their own way.
Seldom has it happened that all songs of one particular album are good and different. But, “Love Aaj Kal” can be regarded as one of it. It is worth of every penny.

MUSIC REVIEW : KAILASA CHAANDAN MEIN

Recently, Sony Music has launched new album of Kailash Kher entitled, “Kailasa Chaandan Mein”. The theme of the album is love and romance. And every song of the album is a treat to ears. All of the songs are sung as well as written by multifaceted Kailash Kher. The soulful music is composed by Kailash Kher’s band comprising of Kailash Kher himself, Paresh and Naresh. And initial to this album, they three together have also composed music for their previous hit albums. And still audiences remember songs and go humming. And both of the album of Kailash Kher proved massive success and already ‘Kailasa Chaandan Mein’ is liked by its audience and may be it will be a hatrik this time.
The title track of the album is ‘Kailasa Chaandan Mein’ followed by ‘Na Batati Tu’ a fast track. The next one is ‘Teri Yaad Mein’. Following to it is ‘Bheeg Gaya Mera Mann’ (Kailash Kher has given this song the name of Cherrapunjee, as it is the wettest spot and in this monsoon season this song is an apt one). The next song is “Ishq Ho Gaya”, followed by “Piya Ghar Aavenge’ (He wrote the lyrics of this song after his father’s death. Therefore, this song is very close to his heart). The last two songs of the album are ‘Rang Rang Ma’ and ‘Kar Kar Main Haara’. There are two bonus tracks in the album- ‘Albela Saajan’ and ‘Tere Naina’.
All of the songs in the album are tuneful and melodious. Kailash Kher has named the album as ‘Organic’ one, as they have not used single electronic musical instrument. They have utilized all Indian Traditional musical instruments like Morchang, Kartaal, Mandolin, Saaz, Udh,Bagal Baccha, Ravan Htta, Ektara, Chimta.
‘Kailasa Chaandan Mein’ ensures to add to your best music collection. It’s worth every penny.
